Chase The Wild Goose is located on the Great Glen Way in the village of Banavie, near Fort William and below majestic Ben Nevis. You can be sure of a warm welcome, a comfortable bed and the company of like-minded people in a pleasant out-of-town environment. Built in the mid-1800s, the hostel was established in 2006 and has been family-owned and personally-managed ever since. There are 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8-bed rooms each with vanity units and warm furnishings. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the dining room, sit in the Lounge, or use the free Wi-fi, tea and coffee facilities. It is perfect for small families or groups and can be booked for exclusive use. The hostel is located in Banavie, outside Fort William city centre, an area boasting the Caledonian Canal and Neptunes Staircase, and with perhaps the very best views of Ben Nevis.     Travel north from Fort William on the A82, signed Inverness. After 1.5 miles, turn left on the A830 ‘Road to the Isles’ for Mallaig. After 1 mile, cross the canal and take a right turn, then 2nd left into Locheil Crescent. Expect to see a large building. If walking, take a short-cut to Banavie along the Great Glen Way.

    The hostel is located just 100m from Banavie train station. The Fort William-Mallaig-Isle of Skye bus stop is nearby on the A830.
