Castle Ward Bunk House is situated in the 820 acres of woodland and shore line of Castle Ward demesne. The accommodation is an ideal venue for corporate or private groups of up to 14 individuals and can also accommodate up to 12 small tents alongside it. There are two gas BBQs provided for guest use. The facilities provide for all modern needs and expectations whether your interests are voluntary work, team building breaks, outdoor pursuits or family and friend retreat. The bunkhouse is just 10 minutes walk from the shores of Strangford Lough. Enjoy our extensive walking and cycling trails that criss cross the estate, visit the mansion house and barn indoor play area or picnic in the exotic Victorian Sunken Garden. There is a tea-room and gift shop offering local produce within a short walk. The bunkhouse is quality rated and certified by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board. The bunkhouse is perfect for families, youth groups, walkers and bikers.
