The Byre at Millhouse sits on the site of the Cornaigmore Mill and features the iconic water wheel and millpond. It offers hostel-style accommodation which is adapted for single use and also welcomes groups and families of all sizes. The site is close to the main beach breaks and next to Loch Bhasapol, home of Wild Diamond Watersports.
The Byre at Millhouse contains 2 dormitories upstairs, each with six single beds. Downstairs, there are two private rooms with a double bed and overhead single bed. There are 2 shower rooms on the ground floor, and 2 WCs (one of which is suitable for assisted needs access).
Other facilities include an open plan dining/lounge area, equipped with a wide-screen television, books, and board games. The kitchen area, which is part of this, includes an oven, an additional hob, a microwave, fridge, and freezer.
A well-equipped laundry room, with industrial washer, leads out to an extensive drying area, complete with wetsuit rinse-off facility and a substantial wooden drying rack.
At the front of the building, there is ample parking, along with a bike rack which holds up to 8 bikes.
