Just 10 minutes from the gateway to Kielder Water & Forest Park. Brown Rigg guest rooms provides top quality rooms in an unbeatable setting.
Despite the name there’s green as far as the eye can see encircling this hostel. Sleek furnishings in the communal kitchen might lead one to believe that they were actually in a hotel. However this is not the case. Brown Riggs offers a comfortable space in a beautiful area of the country. A short jaunt and you’ll find yourself in Bellingham (pronounced Bell-in-jum). A quaint village boasting a good range of places to eat and drink. The traditional pubs are a delight and a welcome sight for weary walkers after a day in the Forest Park. On summer days the barbecue space is a favorite of guests with large picnic tables no one gets left out.

Brown Rigg Guest Rooms near Bellingham in Northumberland National Park were opened in 2018 and offer a modern twist on the traditional hostel.
The stylish en suite guest rooms, which can be configured as either twin or a super-king bed, would fit perfectly in any 4* hotel with their flat screen Freesat TV’s, tasteful decor, luxury duvets, fluffy towels, hairdryers and daily maid service. But at Brown Rigg guests can also use the well equipped self catering kitchen and mix with other guests. Perhaps this isn’t hosteling for the hardcore, but it will certainly appeal to those among you who appreciate a little luxury when you go away without it costing the earth. Like all true hostels Brown Rigg Guest Rooms have no minimum length of stay and are located in a beautiful part of the country.
