I had no idea what to expect when I arrived at Birmingham bus station. I had previously been travelling through the city, but never had the time to explore it – before now. Being from Scandinavia, Birmingham is one of those cities that everyone know’s the name of, but few choose to spend their holiday in. I was eager to find out what we are missing out on.Read More

Birmingham Central Backpackers, as the name suggests is a backpacker hostel in central Birmingham. A friendly atmosphere and great location make this perfect for taking the city.
In a city so full of culture the most difficult thing is perhaps choosing what to do. Many great places to eat and drink to see, the large nightlife scene may be of interest to the night owls. For daytime activities once again Birmingham doesn’t disappoint. Maybe seeing Bev the Octopus at the National Sea Centre or do a spot of axe throwing at Grange Live Gaming. Perhaps a calm walk down by the canals is whats in order. The possibilities are endless, and better yet there’s a wonderful Hostel to come back to at the end of it all… whatever you get up to.
