Formerly the Old Red Lion, this outdoor centre / hostel is the last/first night on the Beacons Way in a remote mountain location in the Black Mountain Range of the Brecon Beacons.  It is owned by the YHA but has been leased to an independent operator for a number of years.

Inside, the hostel offers 26 beds across five bedrooms, as well as an open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen with an open fireplace and a mixture of flagstone and quarry tiled floor.

Outside, there are large wooded gardens, a shed, and outstanding rural views, with the property being close to the Glacier Lake of Llyn y Fan Fach, which is known for being the site of the ‘Lady of the Lake’ folk tale.

The former pub is being sold by Sidney Phillips for a price of £195,000.   SEE HERE
