What are the most commonly used booking systems? This is a question we are frequently asked whenever a new hostel or bunkhouse gets in touch.
In spring 2023, we took a snapshot of the data used by the network’s website to better understand which booking systems are most effective for accommodation owners. This data underpins how the website directs visitors to individual hostels’ online booking platforms and, as a result, provides a clear picture of the most widely used booking systems across the network.
We have repeated this exercise each year since and will continue to do so, enabling us to monitor changes, identify trends, and see how booking system usage evolves over time. The results of this ongoing analysis are presented below.
