Make sure to book in advance– Our hostels are very sought after at New Year. It is easier to find availability for a Christmas house party.
Get all the family together -Discuss what food you are all taking, whose cooking which meals and plans for places to explore.
Don’t forget to pack the Turkey!– Unless you’re staying at Mid Wales Bunkhouse where they have been known to give a free turkey to a group staying for a Christmas House Party.
Plan to enjoy the fresh air, and rural settings– Pack your winter coats and boots as there are numerous beautiful places to explore around our hostels.
Research where you are going – There are numerous fun activities to take part in around our hostels, so there no excuse to stay indoors for all your Christmas House Party. If you get stuck or are unsure of where to look, just ask the hostel you are staying at, who will all be very happy to help.
Go on a family walk- Most of our hostels are situated in natural beauty- with astonishing walks, why not go on a family walk on Christmas Day.
Don’t try and do everything- If you are responsible for cooking and hosting the Christmas house party, then don’t take it all upon yourself. Why not ask other family members to bring different parts of the meal?
