Stand by to repel invaders!
Being close to Hadrian’s Wall means we’re accustomed to talking about Romans round here, now there’s a new set of invaders! Daleks anyone? The Museum of Classic Sci-Fi has opened in nearby Allendale. Ninebanks Youth Hostel and Chalet has plenty of availability over the half term holidays to visit the Daleks or Romans, take a trip into Hexham to the Abbey or just explore this lovely part of the world.
