Derbyshire, 17th August — Mount Cook Adventure Centre, the not-for-profit outdoor activity centre on the edge of the Peak District, has announced a fresh push into the corporate and conference market, with a new range of catering packages now available for meeting and conference spaces accommodating up to 90 delegates.
For over a decade, Mount Cook has welcomed schools, groups and adventurers to its Derbyshire site. The centre has long offered meeting and conference facilities, and is now putting a spotlight on this side of the business, inviting more businesses and organisations to hold team away days, training sessions and conferences at the venue.
The meeting rooms sit on the edge of the Peak District, surrounded by open countryside. Each room is equipped with a projector and screen, speakers and microphone, reliable Wi-Fi and power throughout, with air conditioning available in The Lodge. Free on-site parking and accessible access are provided for all delegates.
To support the push, Mount Cook has introduced a new range of catering packages, with options including tea and coffee with biscuits, a continental breakfast, and an executive lunch buffet. Prices start from £4.95 per person for a minimum of 12 people.
Organisers can also build outdoor activities and team building sessions into their event, drawing on the centre’s experience running adventure activities across the Peak District.
A spokesperson for Mount Cook Adventure Centre said: “We have already welcomed a number of local businesses through our doors, and the feedback has been fantastic. Many organisers have commented on how the setting alone helped shift the tone of their meeting for the better. We are looking forward to welcoming more businesses from across Derbyshire and beyond.”
Meeting spaces range from a boardroom for eight to a full conference space for up to 90 delegates, with the venue’s team on hand to help plan room layout, refreshment timings and any additional activities.
