Puttenham Barn Bunkhouse, near Guildford in Surrey, is a hidden gem looking for hidden gem volunteers.
We are having to turn away 2025 bookings as we simply do not have enough volunteer wardens to look after them – but with your help, we can!
Puttenham Barn is a charity-run converted barn with a green ethos, and is urgently looking for new volunteer wardens.
With only 11 beds, this is a relaxed and friendly place to warden, based in the pretty village of Puttenham.
Guest hours are 5pm to 10am therefore you have each day to yourself – you can return home (if local), explore the area or relax in our wildflower garden.
Wardens can book in for set periods or as bookings come in, whichever suits you!
Free training is provided. This opportunity would suit anyone who likes nature/the outdoors/ hiking or cycling, and enjoys looking after guests. Customer service is very important to us and we want to make sure everyone who stays at the Barn goes away happy – including our wardens!
More info about the bunkhouse can be found at https://puttenhambarn.uk/
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer warden at Puttenham Barn, please email me at [email protected] – I would be very happy to hear from you.
Thank you!
