Elterwater Independent Hostel Ltd is looking to recruit a new Hostel Manager, or Management Couple.

An opportunity has arisen to help take Elterwater Hostel forward as we replace our long serving manager on his retirement. We are looking to recruit a high energy individual (or couple) to help develop and grow the business. The successful applicant(s) will be outgoing, self-starting, hands-on, entrepreneurial and able to work with a high degree of autonomy- while also comfortable with undertaking day to day tasks including cooking and housekeeping and leading the small team of existing staff.

Summary:
– Title: Hostel Manager
– Contract: Permanent Contract
– Hours: Full Time – 42.5 hours per week (Some weekend working and flexibility with hours required)
– Salary: £29,500 – £35,000 negotiable dependent on experience and benefits
– Benefits: This is a live-in position in a recently rebuilt 2 bedroom manager’s cottage in the sought after village of Elterwater, with generous benefits including enhanced employer’s pension contributions, eligibility for bonus, etc.
– Brief Job Description: As Hostel Manager you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of the hostel. You’ll create a friendly environment for team working and ensure that our guests have a great experience in Elterwater.
