Shining Cliff Hostel is buried deep in the woods of Derbyshire, accessible only by foot path and yet is less then two and a half hours from central London. Hop on a train in St Pancras, change at Derby onto the Matlock line and the hostel is a 20 minutes walk into Shining Cliff Woods from the train station at Ambergate. You will need a sense of adventure and a good map reader to find your way. The hostel is only available for hire by groups, so make it a group adventure and bring sleeping bags and all your food with you. The hostel is fully heated, with running water (hot and cold). It has a self catering kitchen, dining area and compost toilets.
