Noran Bank Farm is situated near Lake Ullswater just through Patterdale in Cumbria. Only 5 minutes' walk away from the Coast to Coast route as well as The Westmorland Way which is a 95 mile walk along generally good paths beginning in the famous horse fair town of Appleby and ending at Arnside, all within the old County of Westmorland.

Shepherd's Crook Bunkhouse is a barn conversion, converted to a very high standard and sleeps 8. Upstairs it has a two bedded room with en suite shower and a 6 bedded room. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, seating area in which to relax, toilet and wet room with 2 showers. Duvets, linen and towels are provided. DIY breakfast and packed lunches are available if pre-booked. A well behaved dog considered at owner's discretion. Shepherd's Crook is very popular with overnight stays on the Coast to Coast route and with weekend breaks for walking and cycling enthusiasts. It is also a fantastic meeting place for family and friends get-togethers.
