Tyn Cornel Hostel is isolated away from traffic and the modern world. Ideal for allowing children to let off steam and enjoy the wildlife. The hostel is located on old drovers road (now grassy track) at the head of the beautiful Doethie Valley. This old farmhouse has a kitchen, a cosy sitting-dining room with a log burner, and two bedrooms (each sleeping 8) with bunkbeds and duvets. There’s also a shepherd’s hut that sleep 4.
There is wild walking straight from the hostel and the Cambrian Way long-distance footpath passes the door. An ex – YHA hostel, the hostel is operated by the Elenydd Wilderness Trust and cared for by volunteers.
