Unique container bunkhouse on the Wales Coast Path
The Boathouse provides contemporary, bunkhouse-style accommodation for 12 people. On the first floor there are three cosy sleeping pods, each sleeping 4 in bunks plus 2 wc/showers. On the ground floor the kitchen, sitting and cleaning pods open on to the covered deck with the main sitting and dining area. There's an outdoor shower for washing off equipment and ground floor WCs.
All at your disposal are infra-red patio heaters on the deck, barbecues to use in the garden, an electric barbecue for use on the boatdeck under the sails and hammocks!
The Boathouse is in the village of Cwmtydu, directly on the Wales Coast Path between Llangrannog and New Quay. There are excellent circular walks, secluded beaches and spectacular landscape. Wildlife abounds, seals with pups can bee seen on the beaches and the area has the largest population of bottlenose dolphins in Europe.
For lovers of watersports, the beach offers easy access for launching kayaks and small boats. It is also excellent for fishing and swimming.

The beach is easy to access for launching kayaks and small boats, is excellent for fishing and swimming, is clean, with sand, pebbles, and a small pool where the Afon Ffynnon Ddewi river runs into the sea. Cwmtydu is located on the Welsh Coast Path between Llangrannog and New Quay with many excellent circular walks, secluded beaches, spectacular landscape, and abundant wildlife, including seals, (pupping on the beach), and the largest population of bottlenose dolphins in Europe.
