Situated in the village of Bwlch, you can expect a warm and comfortable stay in this self-catering bunkhouse. There are spacious bedrooms, cosy lounge and dining areas with books, magazines and board games, fully-equipped self-catering kitchen, BBQ area, hot showers, drying room with washing machine, off-road parking and free WiFi.

We can sleep up to 20 people in bunkbeds spread over 6 bedrooms. Bookings from individuals and couples as well as small & large groups are all welcome. The Star Bunkhouse is ideal for family and friends, walking clubs, cycling clubs, etc. It has 6 bedrooms able to accommodate up to 20 guests, communal areas (lounge, dining, shower rooms, self-catering kitchen), bike store, drying room, BBQ area and off-road parking.

Discount for all secondary school and post-16 educational bookings

Are you planning a DofE expedition or an educational field trip? Did you know that we offer a 10% discount for all* educational bookings? Our bunkhouse lies alongside the Beacons Way long distance footpath in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. We have a large projector screen and flipchart/whiteboard/pens (if required) and plenty of space for minibus parking. We can sleep up to 20, with 2 or 4 in each bedroom (6 bedrooms available), and we have flexibility to provide a separate bathroom for staff use.

(* N.B. our bunkhouse is less suitable for primary age… we are on a main road & we don’t have much space to play outside!)
