Restful Bunk Barn overlooking Birdoswald Roman Fort on Hadrian's Wall
Adjacent to the dairy, the bunk barn is a restful, cosy place to base your Hadrian's Wall stay. You can book a private en suite bedroom, individual shared dorm with shared use of the kitchen and lounge. Or you can book sole use of the whole barn for your group.
There are 3 en suite rooms sleeping 8, 5 and 3 in single beds. Each room has its own shower, toilet, hot water and heated towel rail. The beds are made up with fresh duvets and towels are provided.
The common area has a wood pellet-fired stove which gives a warm heart to the room and provides under-floor heating throughout the barn. It has sofas, a dining table and a kitchen area with fridge, kettle, oven, hob and microwave. There is a separate laundry with drying room.
The farm's organic produce (eggs, cheese, yoghurt, home-cooked ready made meals) and a small selection of local products can be purchased from the farm shop.
Self served continental breakfast is included in the overnight fee.
