Situated in the heart of the Peak District, with direct access to the Tissington and High Peak Trails, The Royal Oak Bunk Barn offers comfortable private rooms for families, couples, and small groups — all alongside an award-winning country pub on site.
There are four cosy guest rooms:
• Two family rooms sleeping up to four (one double bed and a set of bunk beds)
• Two twin rooms, which can be made up as doubles on request
Showers and toilets are accessed via an external staircase.
All beds are made up with fresh duvets ready for your arrival, but please remember to bring your own towels.
Guests have access to a shared first-floor kitchen, ideal for preparing light meals. Toilets and showers are located on the ground floor and are shared with our campsite guests.
This is an ideal base for couples and families looking to explore the area’s excellent cycling routes, walking loops, and nearby climbing. Immerse yourself in the best of the Peak District, from peaceful dales and dramatic limestone gorges to iconic summits.
