  • Directions:

    Pantyrathro is six miles from Carmarthen on the B4312, midway between Llangain and Llansteffan. Two miles from Llangain you will see the hostel signposted, turn right and follow hostel signs to top of lane.

  • Public Transport :

    Carmarthen has both coach and train stations serving South Wales, SW England and London. Local bus runs six times a day to Llansteffan and Carmarthen. Ask driver to let you off at Pantyrathro Hostel.

“There is room for multiple bikes and we have a bar and restaurant for weary travellers. I am biker friendly and have 3 bikes myself. After biking many countries myself, I do understand the stereotyping of bikers. Here, there is no judgement and actually I love to see bikes! So please come and visit!” Ken (owner/manager)

Cycle Wales, with a quick stop in Mexico

Pantyrathro International Hostel is a quirky hostel. Situated in the virtually traffic free lanes of South Wales it has been decorated with Mexico in mind. Perfect for Cyclists, and those with a taste for adventure… and nachos.

We cater for cyclists and have a shed for bikes. We are 4 miles off of the south Britain cycle route 4 which meanders along quiet country lanes. You can grab a hot meal and a cold beer in our bars when you arrive. If you are carrying food, you may use the self catering kitchen which has everything you would need.
