Self catering bunkhouse for groups in Edale, Derbyshire
Situated on a working hill farm which dates back to the 16th century, the barns are close to the start of the Pennine Way and offer easy access to Kinder Scout. A short walk away is the village of Edale with a village store, two pubs serving food, railway station and Moorlands Info Centre.
This is ideal walking country, with a network of footpaths direct from the doorstep, including a walk with stunning views over the Mam Tor ridge to Castleton, a pretty tourist village famous for its Christmas lights, show caves and gift shops. Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth House are all within 40 minutes' drive.
Nab View, converted in 2016, sleeps 18 in 3 rooms, whilst the Stables Bunkhouse has 3 rooms sleeping 4 & 1 sleeping 2. The bunks have a bottom sheet and pillow, fitted with freshley laundered pillowcase, bring your own sleeping bag. Each bunkhouse has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, modern showers and toilets, cycle store and car parking. Book sole use or by the bed and share the barn.
Weekends reserved for groups until close to date.

Located on the edge of Edale, with footpaths leading towards Kinder form the doorstep, Ollerbrook Farm if the perfect site for DofE groups. There’s a private camping area, for use by DofE groups only, with designated toilets. Leaders can stay in one of newly converted comfortable bunkhouses.

This popular bunkhouse is in Edale, Derbyshire, close to the start of the Pennine Way. It is pretty booked up in August, but has availability in the other months.
From Ollerbrook Farm a few minutes walk across a field and a tiny stone bridge takes you to the centre of the village of Edale, the start of the Pennine Way. Leaving the top of the village the Pennine Way crosses the moorlands of the Kinder Plateau towards Yorkshire.
