Kirk Yetholm: 146 Trees in ground for the 2023 season!
October 18th 2023
At our Friends of Nature House in Kirk Yetholm https://friendsofnature.org.uk/houses/kirk-yetholm we allocate £1 for every person staying to tree planting projects with ‘Trees for Life’. During the 7 month season April to October 2023 we welcomed 873 guests and means we can plant a further 146 trees with TFL. That’s 43 more trees than last years total of 103 planted, our best year to date! Onwards and upwards as more guests will = more trees!!
The total trees planted in the Friends of Nature grove currently stands at 492, see https://treesforlife.org.uk/groves/g5482/ Anyone can add a tree and write a message… they make great presents, to celebrate an event or mark an occasion!
