Hawse End Centre is situated at the head of the magnificent Borrowdale Valley on the shores of Derwentwater with stunning views and access to the lakeside, mountains and Keswick via launch or lakeside walk.

The house is a large, comfortable, country mansion ideal for groups. It has a well equipped and spacious self-catering kitchen with a professional catering oven & hob, a large dining room, lounge, additional reception room, classroom and extensive grounds leading down to the lake shore.

The Cottage for families and small groups has a small well equipped kitchen, living room and a patio with picnic tables and views of the lake. A catering service can be made available by prior arrangement.

Outdoor activities can all be booked in advance and are led by experienced and qualified outdoor leaders
