Accommodation & Watersport Activity Centre in Cowes
Accommodation for youth groups, clubs, uniformed groups, families and schools consists of dormitory style accommodation blocks with a choice of B&B, half, or full board options. B&B includes breakfast served in the on-site canteen. Full board includes three meals a day, with a packed lunch for when you’re on the move. Self-contained 4-8 berth bunk rooms have single and twin rooms available for leaders with separate bathrooms. The rooms are arranged in blocks so large and small groups have self-contained spaces. Wheelchair accessible bedrooms are also available.
Campus stays include full use of on site facilities. Indoor heated swimming pool, full-sized sports hall, WiFi, changing rooms, drying rooms, canteen, outdoor bike storage, young person’s chill out zone and bar area are available for your group to use. There is also a variety of classrooms and break-out areas if needed.
UKSA’s waterfront base is the perfect location to incorporate watersports and team building activities in your stay. Learn to sail, kayak, windsurf, paddleboard, team build and more. Activities can be tailored to your groups age, ability, and needs.
Extend your trip with visits to some of the islands famous attractions like Osbourne House or Dinosaur Isle or use UKSA as a base camp to explore the island.
There is limited car parking and transfers to and from the ferries can be arranged with notice. Making this an ideal location for a holiday without your car.

UKSA is easily assessible from Southampton by car via Red Funnels car ferry. Arriving in East Cowes, The Base Camp is a short ferry hop across the river to West Cowes. The heart of Cowes is a couple of minutes away in a car. The Base Camp has limited parking, please phone to explore car parking options.Public Transport :
UKSA is easily accessible from Southampton on foot, via Red Funnel’s "Red Jet passenger service". Arriving in West Cowes, it's a 5-minute walk to the Base Camp or a short taxi ride. Many groups enjoy getting a private boat directly to UKSA's pontoons.

Looking for a last-minute residential school trip? UKSA’s 3-day/2-night, keelboat programmes are available for £180 per person in October and November. This non-immersive activity offers a great option for the cooler autumn months.
Based in Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, UKSA’s 4-acre campus offers the perfect waterfront base for a residential trip with a difference. All-inclusive packages include day and evening programme, full-board accommodation, round-trip ferry transportation to the Isle of Wight, expert instruction and equipment, and exclusive occupancy of dormitory-style rooms. For every 10 students, there is a leaders place free of charge.
