Converted from an old stone school, with much of the character remaining. It provides self-catering accommodation for up to 26 people in six rooms. There is a lounge, drying room, 4 shower rooms with hand basins and toilets, well equipped kitchen / dining room with industrial cooker, toasters, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwaves and payphone. Clean bottom sheet and pillow case provided, bring your own duvet / sleeping bag or hire a duvet and cover for £5 per person per stay..
The area is well known for its scenery including the Three Peaks walk over Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent and Whernside. Close by are the Waterfalls walk and some of the best caves and potholes in the country including the famous Gaping Ghyll system and the White Scar show cave. Cave and Canyoning UK offer underground and over water adventures at discounted rates for bunkhouse guests

The Old School Bunkhouse is now offering rooms for last-minute bookings. Most mid-week dates in April are currently available. With rooms from £60 with full use of all the bunkhouse facilities including the lovely self-catering kitchen and lounge, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Great for solo adventures, families, and group organizers who would like their party to book their own rooms. For availablity and to book view our Booking System.

One Night Stays in the Three Peaks

We are able to accommodate one night stays at the Old School Bunkhouse mid week (Sunday through to Thursday). These are now available on our Booking System subject to availability.
One-night stays are great for those completing DofE expeditions, the Three Peaks Challenge or just passing through.
