OverviewSituated on the outskirts of Keswick at our Old Windebrowe site the dog-friendly Coach House is part of the characterful, listed Tithe Barn that was once home to William Wordsworth and now belongs to The Calvert Trust. Sleeping up to 14 people, it has 2 large dormitories that are both accessible from an open plan central room that incorporates the kitchen, dining area and lounge. Bed linen and mattresses are provided. This is fully accessible accommodation with wet-rooms and showers with wheelchair access to both the front and rear of the property. To the front there is also parking and an outside south-facing seating area in the cobbled courtyard for sunny days, with a shared utility room incorporating washing machine, tumble dryer and drying racks to the rear. Directions:If driving from Penrith, Cockermouth or Carlisle, when arriving at the roundabout at the junction of the A66 / A591 take the Keswick exit. After 400m take the first right and then after a further 400m take the left hand fork in the road. Drive a further 400m up the hill until you arrive at the Calvert Trust stables and Tithe Barn which is where the Coach House is situated.
Public Transport:You can get direct buses to the centre of Keswick from all the main surrounding Cumbria towns (Penrith, Carlisle, Kendal, Windermere, Cockermouth and Workington) with the Coach House a 20 minute walk or short cab-ride from the bus station. The nearest train station is in Penrith, followed by Carlisle or Windermere.

We have clothes washing facilities and cooking equipment onsite, with meals also available locally, and welcome guests in wheel chairs.
