OverviewSlindon Estate has so much to offer all year round. In the winter months enjoy the benefit of the wood-burner in the comfortable lounge, and in the summer have a barbeque in the walled garden. Slindon Bunkhouse provides comfortable hostel-style accommodation, within Britains newest National Park: The South Downs. Whether you are a group of like-minded friends or families that like to get together, the clean and simple facilities combined with a rural location will meet all your needs. Living room with 3 oversized sofas and wood-burner. Kitchen with log fuel stove/ dinning room with bench seating. Downstairs dorm with bunk beds. Single occupancy room. Female bathroom. Male bathroom. Utility room. Upstairs dorm with bunk beds. Parking is available for 5 cars next to the bunkhouse, just 2 metres away. There is a small fully enclosed garden to the south of the building. The grass is mown and the garden is kept tidy, however it isn't floral. There is a patio area in the garden which can be accessed from the back door of the bunkhouse. There is a pub style picnic bench and a BBQ area. There is no play equipment. The building is located within the working estate yard, including the estate office. There are a lot of vehicle movements during week days, and some on weekends. Vehicle and pedestrian access to office and workshops buildings needed at all times. Some areas are marked no access for Bunkhouse guests.
