Rackwick Hostel overlooks Rackwick Bay, considered one of the most beautiful places in Orkney. The hostel sleeps 8 in two rooms with two pairs of bunks per room. All bedding is provided. There's a small kitchen with a good range of utensils and a separate eating area. There's free car parking and storage to the rear of the hostel for bikes. Walkers and Cyclists Welcome scheme awarded.

The Centre is located in the scenic Rackwick Valley in the north of Hoy. Much of north Hoy is owned by the RSPB, where a large variety of birds live and breed. Off the west coast of the reserve towers The Old Man of Hoy, a 137m sea stack, Orkney's most famous landmark and a great place to see puffins. Local wild flowers and bird life make this a must for naturalists to visit.
