The two luxury cabins in the grounds of The Star at Lidgate both sleep 6 in two twin rooms and a double sofa bed in the large open-plan lounge.Brimming with features to make your stay as comfortable as possible, you'll find 2 separate shower rooms and a fully equipped kitchenette with a hob and fridge. There's a private terrace, outdoor seating and secure bike racks. All linens and towels are provided.
Opened in Autumn 2022, the cabins have high eco-credentials. Their ample insulation is made from 100% recycled materials and the heating is provided by air-source heat pumps.
With a choice of walking routes from the doorstep, plenty of country lanes for cyclists to explore, a number of local fishing lakes, a golf course at Bury St Edmunds and all the racing attractions at Newmarket, there is something for everybody.

Equipped with a kitchenette and 2 separate shower rooms, there is everything you need for a relaxing & unique stay that won’t break the bank. Dogs are welcome too. Lidgate is surrounded by rolling Suffolk countryside (perfect for dog walking). Newmarket with all its horse racing connections is just a 15 min drive.
