Inchnadamph Explorers Lodge sits at the foot of Ben More Assynt, overlooking Loch Assynt and sitting on the NC500. It offers a variety of accommodation, from private rooms and dorms, through to our external accommodation in shepherd huts, a self-catering cottage and steading studio apartments - all welcoming hill walkers, families, explorers and more.

The lodge has is a large self-catering kitchen, a lounge and a dining room (both with real fires) and a shop for snacks & basic meals at the reception. Dogs are welcome everywhere excluding the Lodge and Cosy Cabin shepherds hut.

Mountains can be climbed from the door, there are caves and other exciting geological features in the Traligill river valley and a wide diversity of birds, plants, and animals can be found. North Coast 500 with kids… Have children, will travel

October 7th 2016

I am a mother of 4 small boys aged 11, 8 and 5 years old twins. We live in the most Northerly part of Scotland, and have been known to travel great distances to go on holiday. This year, however, we decided to stay a bit closer to home and drive the new coastal road, the NC500.  In a bid to see what the route has to offer for families. My boys were duly packed into our old van and off we went.
