The Glenorchy Centre is situated in the Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is situated on a cobbled street in the picturesque market town of Wirksworth. A few minutes' walk in any direction will find you in the rolling Derbyshire hills. Close to the High Peak Trail for walking, pony trekking and cycling and Black Rocks for bouldering and climbing. Nearby Cromford has the historic Arkwright's mills and Cromford Canal. Suitable for self-catering groups, the fully heated accommodation comprises 8 and 12 bed dormitories, one 4 bed and one 2 bed room, all with showers and toilets. Sheets and duvets are provided, but not towels. There is a fitted kitchen with dining area and a large multi-purpose room with a large stage, ideal for recreation, conferences etc. There is a TV, DVD player, table tennis and a snooker table. Disabled access is possible to the main hall and dining area. Car parking available next to the centre, overnight charge £1, 24 hours for £5.50.
