Located in the heart of the coastal village of Findhorn with only a short walk to the dunes or The Park community. Situated in the North East of Scotland on the Moray firth. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty which overlooks the renowned Findhorn Bay and Culbin Forest known for their wealth of wildlife such as ospreys, seals & dolphins. The Speyside area is recognised for its whiskey production and has a number of distilleries within easy reach of the village. The Cairngorm mountains are less than an hour's drive to the south giving access to some of Scotland’s finest walking and views

This self-catering hostel is a conversion of the former village school which can be booked by groups or individuals. It has a well-equipped kitchen and sitting room with Netflix, Freeview TV and WIFI. The building has central heating and showers with conference rooms available on request.

There are two dormitories of 5 bunk beds (Sleeping 10 people). A private room that sleeps 2 (The Mates Cabin) with the option of an extra folding bed. A small family room with en suite bathroom for up to 4 people (The Captains Suite). A modern studio flat sleeps 6 in bunks and a fold-away double bed (The Lobster Pot). The studio has a mini kitchen and a private bathroom suitable for disabled use.
Findhorn Village Hostel is right by the beautiful Moray Coast. Great wildlife sites & the Speyside distilleries are within reach. It provides self-catering accommodation for groups or individuals. It has shared bunkrooms, a two-person room & an en-suite family room. Large communal kitchen/ dining/ living area. A self-contained studio (6 beds) has a small kitchenette & en-suite shower.

    Booking is essential via email, phone or online. We ask groups for a deposit then payment in full one month prior to visit. Individuals should pay in full on after confirmation of their booking.
  • Directions:

    B9011 into Findhorn then turn right at the church. Findhorn village centre is directly ahead.
  • Public Transport :

    Trains and buses are available to Forres. Bus No 31 runs hourly (except Sundays) from Forres to Findhorn (until 18.15) and stops by the church.
