The beautiful Isle of Coll offers so much, whether you are into walking, stargazing, wildlife-spotting, diving, cycling, sailing or kayaking, you can do it all.
The bunkhouse is bright and airy, and can sleep up to 14 in bunks plus infants (cot available). 2 private rooms: Fraoch sleeps 3 including a double bed, Sobhrach sleeps 5 including a double bed. Bliochan is a 6-bed dorm room. Ideal for small groups or independent travellers.
The building is modern with level access throughout including one level access WC and shower room and a fully equipped kitchen.
Discounts are available for whole bunkhouse hire.

Coll Bunkhouse is situated in the centre of the village of Arinagour, close to the local shop, cafe, hotel/bar. From the ferry follow the road until you see An Cridhe, the new community centre. The bunkhouse is next to the community centre on your left hand side. From the airport take the road to Arinagour. The bunkhouse is on your right hand side as you enter the village. Airport to the bunkhouse is a journey of approximately 6 miles. A taxi can be arranged.Public Transport :
Ferry from Oban takes 2.40 hours. Sailings every day in summer and five times a week in winter. Flights can be booked from Oban. Bikes are free on the ferry and can be booked onto trains to Oban.Walks :

Access: The bunkhouse is all on one level. Bedrooms: There is at least one accessible room with a set of bunks, single bed, accessible sink and plenty of space to manoeuvre. Bathroom: Wheelchair accessible bathroom with grab rails and a roll in shower with two wall mounted shower seats. The toilet is a perfect height for slide transfer. Celebrate Christmas or Hogmanay on the Isle of Coll.

This island bunkhouse sleeps 16 people and is well equipped for groups, with two large tables in the dining area. The Isle of Coll’s amazing beaches look wonderful at any time of year. The Bunkhouse is next door to Coll’s community centre and across the road from the Coll Hotel public bar, a great place to see in the New Year in with local people. Not to be missed is the New Year’s day shinty match. Individuals and groups welcome, with winter discounts available for stays of 5 nights or more.
The bunkhouse is next door to An Cridhe, Coll’s award winning community centre, where there are facilities to play table tennis, badminton, indoor football and more, plus a well equipped mini gym. Coll’s amazing beaches look wonderful at anytime of year and Coll is a great place for cycling or walking.
Coll Hotel and the Island Café are both 5 minutes away from the bunkhouse and both serve amazing food at anytime of year.

The island of Coll has been designated a Dark Sky Community by the International Dark-sky Association (IDA). The best time of year to see the beauty of the islands night skies is in the Winter months. With the increased frequency of electrical storms in recent years, many have seen the Northern Lights in the skies above Coll.
You are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches on the Isle of Coll. There are around twenty larger beaches and dozens of smaller beaches so take your pick. The joy of The Isle of Coll is because its an island, you will always be able to find a beach that is sheltered from the wind!
No matter what season you come, Coll Bunkhouse provides great value, modern, comfortable and accessible accommodation all year around. Coll Bunkhouse is in the heart of the village so very close to all local amenities.
