With plenty of beds, fantastic location and often activities on site, Hostel, bunkhouses and camping barns can be fantastic places to hold Stag and Hen Parties. Many of our hostels provide packages which include outdoor activities as part of your party whilst others provide the perfect accommodation for a self planned event. But we do have some hostels in the network which feel they can’t welcome party groups so it is important to check before you book.     Cornmill Bunkhouse

    Cornmill Bunkhouse is situated on a traditional croft. The mill was built in the early 1800s and was active until 1920s. It is now 4* accommodation for individuals or groups. Guests are reminded of their historic setting; the smaller bunkroom has a patio door looking onto the workings of the old mill with its large wooden cog driving wheels. Activities can be organised for groups including Laser Tagging & Shooting. Hen and stag parties welcome.

A favourite for Stag parties is ABERNETHY BUNKHOUSE in the Cairngorms the perfect Stag and Hen accommodation.  This is an Exclusive Use hostel, so your group can relax and have fun without worrying about disturbing other guests.  The bunkhouse has been robustly designed so your group can “let their hair down” without fear of a hefty bill for damages at the end. Set in the heart of the Highlands there are a wide variety of exciting things to do run by very professional organisations.  Return ‘home’ to the bunkhouse for  a pint of the locally brewed ale at half the price of the local hostelries.   Included are warm showers, decent cooking facilities, and an efficient drying room.  There’ s a great local minibus driver who is very patient; an Indian takeaway that sends a banquet in a taxi; an ‘eat as much as you can’ Italian; many incredible activity providers; and a local brewery who will deliver small kegs at a fantastic rate!

At MARTHROWN OF MABIE BUNKHOUSE (which also does weddings) in Dumfries you can hold a festival style party away from anyone who might be disturbed with accommodation is a mixture of Yurts an tipis as well as the bunkhouse.  Another quirky location for a Stag or Hen weekend that also does weddings is the amazing CRAIG Y NOS CASTLE where you can stay in the converted nurses block and explore the historic and possibly haunted castle as part of your weekend away.

ROCK AND RAPID BUNKHOUSE near Exmoor is a AALA registered centre that offers activities such as climbing, coasteering, canoeing and surfing alongside the bunkhouse accommodation, whilst L & A OUTDOOR CENTRE in the Swansea Bay area can arrange a programme of outdoor activities,  a great choice if you fancy a high octane weekend away with the boys or girls to celebrate an upcoming wedding! CROFT FARM WATERPARK has a function room for parties as well as loads of watersports opportunities on-site.  Whist the owners of SHAGGY SHEEP in the Teifi valley, are expert at organising outdoor activities to entertain a stag or hen group.
