Cornwall might not be the first place that comes to mind when thinking about the festive season. But here’s how you can have a blast in our cosy hostel on the coast this Christmas or New Year.
The first thing in mind has to be our,
Location,
We’re two minutes from the beach. Just perfect for a Christmas or New years day walk along. A chance to break away from your normal traditions and take in the fresh air somewhere new. But if that doesn’t satiate the thirst for coastal walks you need only walk on as we’re right on the south west coastal path. There’s all manner of stunning coastline to amble along with your friends and family. Just ask us and we can point you in the direction of some of our favourite spots. We also happen to be just a short walk from the town centre where there’s quite a bit to get stuck in.
Our Hostel,
Cosy and well suited to families, we’ve got 14 beds, and enough space for unwrapping of presents or Christmas feasts. Having the whole place to yourself is a joy, spread out as much as you please and relax in our lounge without a care. A cosy log burner will keep you all company in the evenings and our kitchen facilities will please any amateur chef in the group. Best of all we’re an affordable choice for getting away to Cornwall, especially over the holidays! You’ll get all the perks of a holiday cottage experience without the huge bill. You can bring the whole family out to our hostel and enjoy quality time for a very reasonable price.
What’s on,
Being in central Cornwall you can expect to be kept busy for your stay, take a day trip to some of the Cornish attractions. Or stay in sunny Fallifornia. You can expect to see a jovial atmosphere in our pubs during the holidays. With Carols being sung and great food being served. Make sure to look out for the candlelit vigil, a very nice way to spend the evening. Closer to the new year there’s the chance of fireworks to be seen. In the past there have been displays at the castle and along the beach. Well worth a look. It most likely won’t turn out to be a white Christmas but that’s all the more chance to escape some of the usual traditions and try something a little different. Paella for the big meal, why not?
