Are you searching for that perfect place to hold your special event. This could be from a family celebration to a Christmas Getaway, a reunion of friends to a weekend activity break for a club.
Here at Kendal Hostel we have 12 bedrooms (accommodating up to 40 guests) arranged over 3 floors. Our rooms range from 2 per room to 7 so can cater for all ages and requirements. Every bookings gets exclusive hire. These rooms include double rooms, family rooms and group rooms. As the hostel is fully self catering we have a large kitchen and dining room for guests to use. The kitchen has everything you would find at home, ovens, hobs, microwave, kettle, fridges and so on. Our dining room is situated conveniently next to the kitchen which seats 26 guests at our rustic farm house tables. Our large communal lounge is perfect for relaxing in with our cosy log burner and comfy sofas as well as our free pool table and free unlimited Wi-Fi, ideal for guests who cant be without.
The hostel is situated in the historic market town of Kendal, also known as the Gateway to the Lakes, which still holds an outdoor market twice weekly. Kendal is a bustling town where you will find everything on the doorstep. We have pubs, restaurants for everyone’s tastes, shops and all local amenities close by. The Lake District is also only a stones throw away with the popular destination of Windermere only 8 miles away and easily accessible by public transport and car within 15 minuets.
